The New York City Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association has named Satterlee Stephens Associate Michael J. Greenberg Chair of its Legal Committee. The Chapter’s recently formed Legal Committee is dedicated to helping patients and their families address the myriad of legal and financial issues that emerge following an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Mr. Greenberg and his colleagues are implementing a full educational program for the Chapter, which includes seminars, program recordings and articles for a non-legal audience.
Mr. Greenberg joined Satterlee Stephens LLP in February 2017 and focuses his practice on estate planning, elder law, and special needs planning. He speaks frequently to community groups on topics ranging from the Basics of Estate Planning to Legal and Financial Planning for the Newly Diagnosed Dementia Patient. Mr. Greenberg’s commitment to help Alzheimer’s patients and their families started when he was in law school and a close family member received an Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
