Satterlee Stephens Announces Charles J. Keeley and Jennifer Philbrick McArdle as Partners and Nathan Berkebile as Counsel to the Firm

Satterlee Stephens is pleased to announce that Charles J. Keeley and Jennifer Philbrick McArdle have become partners of the firm and Nathan Berkebile has become counsel.  

Mr. Keeley is a litigator who represents clients in a broad range of commercial disputes, including areas of securities, contract, tort, banking, insurance, fraudulent transfer, consumer fraud, RICO, intellectual property, and employment.  He counsels clients ranging from major financial institutions, Fortune 100 companies, insurance companies and brokers, individual directors and officers, real estate developers and small businesses and business owners.   He has particular experience representing banks and multinational companies in complex litigation, including securities class actions and bankruptcy litigation.  He also assists companies and their board of directors in conducting internal investigations and has defended them in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and in other regulatory matters.   In addition, he has successfully represented clients in arbitrations before FINRA.  Click here to find out more about Charles J. Ms. McArdle has a broad range of business litigation experience, including securities, contract, trade secrets, professional liability, insurance, consumer fraud, and other areas of law.  She counsels clients ranging from major financial institutions and Fortune 100 companies to individual business owners and insurance brokers on these matters, advocating in both state and federal court and assisting with strategic decision-making and contractual issues outside of the litigation context.

Ms. McArdle’s practice also has a particular focus in media and intellectual property law.  For example, Ms. McArdle counsels clients in connection with pre-publication review, defamation claims, reporters’ rights issues, requests for information under state and federal freedom of information laws, copyright registration and litigation, claims under the Lanham Act, trademark prosecution, and practice before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board.  She regularly represents corporations in the financial, media and publishing, insurance, technology, and consumer goods industries in these matters, as well as individuals.  Click here to find out more about Jennifer Philbrick McArdle.
