Michael J. Greenberg is an associate at Satterlee Stephens LLP concentrating in the area of Trusts & Estates.
Mr. Greenberg focuses on domestic and international estate planning, tax planning and estate administration. His experience covers issues related to closely-held businesses, retirement planning, estate planning for single adults, generation-skipping transfer tax matters, all varieties of trust agreements, and preparation of all documentation, including wills and tax returns.
He is also experienced in elder law, disability planning (including asset transfers, trusts and advance directives), Surrogate’s Court litigation, and special needs planning.
In addition to his firm practice, Mr. Greenberg serves as a Second Lieutenant / Judge Advocate in the New York Guard. Mr. Greenberg earned his undergraduate degree (B.A.) from Williams College and his law degree (J.D.) from Emory University School of Law.

Mr. Greenberg is the Legal Committee Chair of the New York City Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, which is a committee that helps patients and their families address a variety of legal and financial issues associated with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. In addition to speaking at Alzheimer’s Association events, he frequently gives public education seminars on estate planning and elder law throughout the New York metropolitan area.
