Kieran E. Morris is an associate at Satterlee Stephens LLP.
He has represented clients in commercial and criminal matters before federal and state courts with a practice focus on litigation involving business disputes including multi-district class actions, a National Environmental Policy Act challenge to an Army training facility, various bankruptcies, and employment law matters.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Morris worked in the litigation department of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. He also served on Active Duty with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he served as a Prosecutor, a Special Assistant United States Attorney, and as Labor & Environmental Counsel. He was stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii with the 25th Infantry Division (Light). He deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina as part of The NATO peacekeeping mission, Operation Joint Forge, and served as Legal Advisor to the weapon’s inspector staff component of Task Force Eagle, Multinational Division North. Additionally, he drafted a prosecution brief for the International Criminal Court for the former Yugoslavia of three war criminals for crimes committed during the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
He has represented disabled veterans pro bono before the Veteran’s Administration.
Mr. Morris is admitted to practice in New York.
He received his J.D. from Fordham University, School of Law, and was the recipient of the Professor Iorio scholarship. He received his B.A. in History from Fordham College, Lincoln Center, where he received Dean’s List Honors.
