Glenn C. Edwards is a partner of Satterlee Stephens LLP and concentrates his practice in commercial litigation.
He has represented clients in all aspects of litigation, both trial and appellate, in federal and state courts in various jurisdictions, as well as arbitration. Areas of practice have included contractual disputes, partnership disputes, business torts, securities, antitrust, intellectual property, products liability, bankruptcy, trusts and estates litigation, and media-related issues.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Edwards clerked for the Honorable Sonia Sotomayor, both on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Mr. Edwards is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and is also admitted to practice in the federal district courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York as well as the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Edwards worked for several years as a chemical engineer at the Exxon refinery in Baytown, Texas.
Mr. Edwards earned his undergraduate degree (B.Ch.E.) with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his law degree (J.D.) from Yale Law School, where he served on the Yale Law Journal.
